Notes: The Rams are 2-0 coming off impressive wins against the Cowboys and Eagles. Head coach Sean McVay has had his way in both games, leaving opposing defenses helpless and exposed. Bills defensive mastermind Sean McDermott will be easily the toughest challenge to date, and McVay will need another stellar game out of Jared Goff who has played mistake-free football through two weeks.

Top running backs Malcolm Brown and Cam Akers will likely sit for this game, leaving the burden on 2019 third-rounder Darrell Henderson. Henderson looked decent in limited Week 2 action, but this Bills defense is a different animal. This offensive line that is starting to show cracks will need to be great in order to get the run game going.

The Bills seldom give up big plays, so expect McVay to rely heavily on Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp in the short and intermediate game early and often. If Tre’Davious White locks up Woods, this could be a long day for the Rams offense. Kupp has the biggest mismatch against the Bills slot corners so expect a lot of targets to go his way in this matchup.

Josh Allen has looked like a new man through two weeks and the Bills offense is firing on all cylinders. Allen, aside from two fumbles, is playing mistake-free football while airing it out downfield to his speedy receivers.

The backfield tandem of Devin Singletary and Zack Moss has been somewhat underwhelming thus far but faces a positive matchup against a Rams front that, despite having Aaron Donald, struggles against the run. Zack Moss being matched up with the Rams linebackers in the passing game is something to watch. The Rams biggest weakness is at linebacker, but is Moss good enough to exploit it?

Stefon Diggs has been spectacular through two weeks, but faces a brutal matchup this week against Jalen Ramsey. The Bills will hope that John Brown can exploit his matchup against Troy Hill. Similarly to Moss, the Bills need Dawson Knox to have a good day as well against the Rams linebackers and safeties. If Allen can avoid turnovers and keep up his efficiency, the Bills have a great shot to come away with the win.
