NOTES: The Broncos are coming off an impressive comeback victory where Drew Lock showed spurts of quality QB play. I expect Lock to have another breakout performance in this match-up as well because the Falcons have been susceptible to the passing attack, which seems like it’s finally catching fire for Denver. Their two-headed running game has been the focal point of the offense, and Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay will keep the Broncos afloat in this battle. Their rush defense has been pretty stout, but the pass defense has been in question. If the Broncos pass defense can be serviceable in this match-up then they will have a good chance to cover and maybe even upset Atlanta.

Ever since head coach Dan Quinn was fired and Raheem Morris took over, the Falcons have looked much more motivated and improved. I expect that to continue, and so does Vegas as the Falcons are favored by four points in this contest. I expect them to rely on their mobile passing attack. In every game that Julio Jones has played Matt Ryan has been great and that will be the case again in this game. However, their offense could be stymied in the running department as Todd Gurley has found the end zone, but struggled between the 20s. I expect the Falcons to struggle on the ground, but make up for that with their air attack. However, it will be tough for them to cover the line if their defense can’t hold up against the Broncos surging offense.
