NOTES: For a team that has looked very strong this season, the Packers struggled against a 1-8 Jacksonville Jaguars team, but they were able to pull out the victory. Their secondary has been very strong; however, their front seven and run defense has been a weak point, but that’s the way they want to play. No big plays, and funnel everything into that secondary, which has worked for them to be the division leaders. This will be a tough game for the Packers as the Colts have one of the strongest defenses in the league this year, especially against the run. The offense runs through two guys, RB Aaron Jones and WR Davante Adams. Both have missed some time this season, but are now at full strength. With those two studs carrying the team, I find it hard for anyone to beat the Packers. This game will be decided while their offense is on the field and the Colts defense is on the field, strength versus strength, and we’ll see who comes out on top.

The Colts have emerged as one of the best all-around teams in the entire league and sit firmly atop the AFC South, a little more than halfway through the season. Their success has been predicated on their defense, which has been strong against both the run and the pass, and will look to make this contest competitive against a strong Packers offense. On the offensive side, the Colts will look to use their hot hand approach at RB against a weak Packers run defense, but we don’t know which RB they will feature. RB Johnathon Taylor has not looked as good as we thought he would, but maybe he turns that around against the Packers weak run defense. Whoever gets the bulk of the carries for the Colts backfield will have a strong game and will keep this Colts team in it. It will be up to the defense to halter the Packers star-studded offense if the Colts want to cover and prove bettors right that they should be favored.
