NOTES: This is a possible Super Bowl preview, and the defending champion Chiefs are looking to invoke their dominance. They have looked like one of the strongest teams and little will hold them back from repeating. QB Patrick Mahomes took the reigns of the MVP race last week as he led the Chiefs on a last-minute game-winning drive as he does so often. Travis Kelce has moved into the top three in receiving yards this season and should torch this Buccaneers defense. The Chiefs running game looked better last week but might have a tough time against a good Tampa run defense. The Chiefs defense hasn’t been great this season, so I expect this to be a shootout, but never bet against Patrick Mahomes in a shootout.

After falling to the Rams in week 11, the Buccaneers need a statement win to prove to the league that they are a true contender. Here’s their chance, as they host the defending champs in week 12 at Raymond James Stadium. QB Tom Brady felt the heat last week leading to multiple interceptions, but he should have time to throw against the Chiefs and he will find his slew of targets downfield. I expect the Buccaneers offense to click on all cylinders, so it will be up to the defense to find a few stops if the Buccaneers want to find a win. I expect this to be a competitive game that comes down to which playmakers make the most plays.
