NOTES: The Buffalo Bills last week looked like they could easily be the second-best team in the AFC. They handled the Pittsburgh Steelers with ease, winning 26-15. Josh Allen has been a gunslinger on offense. He currently ranks sixth in the league in passing yards with 3,641. Although the run game has been below-average, that has not been a problem for a Bills team that loves to throw the ball. Stefon Diggs has been an excellent number one option for Allen. Diggs is currently third in the league in receiving yards with 1,167. John Brown, Cole Beasley, and Gabriel Davis have also been nice complementary receivers. The Bills will face the Broncos this week, a team that struggled early on, but has since improved.
The Denver Broncos were off to an ugly start to the season. However, their last two games have shown a lot of bright spots. They were able to win their game against the Carolina Panthers, but lost to the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs the week prior. Justin Simmons has been excellent in the secondary this season. He is currently tied for fourth in the league in interceptions with four. Philip Lindsey and Melvin Gordan have been a solid running back duo. Drew Lock has also had a couple of good games since that COVID-19 mess up. This week against the Bills will be a tough challenge since they are one of the most talented teams in the league, and the Broncos defense will have a lot to handle on Saturday.
