NOTES: The Packers control their own destiny, if they win they secure homefield advantage throughout the playoffs, which means teams that don’t usually play in blizzards will have to win games in freezing weather to make it to the Super Bowl. This season the Packers secondary has been king and will have to come up against a hot Chicago offense that has been clicking recently. Their offense has been prolific this season, but it won’t be as effortless to find success against the Bears defense. I expect the Packers to lead for most of this contest and find a way to win in the end.

This is a must-win game for the Chicago Bears. Even if they win, they need the Rams to beat the Cardinals to find a place as the seven seed, which might mean an immediate rematch with the Green Bay Packers. The Bears’ recent success can be accredited to QB Mitch Trubisky opening up the offense, which leads to better runs for RB David Montgomery, who has had some elite performances lately. They will need one more big time performance from the sophomore running back to secure a spot in the playoffs. They will also need their defense, which has gone through an up and down season, to come through in a big way. Head Coach Matt Nagy will have his troops ready for the battle, the stakes have never been higher for this Bears team in a long time, and they might just come through.
