The Baltimore Ravens are re-signing star defensive lineman Calais Campbell to a two-year, $12.5 million contract, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Saturday. The deal can be worth up to $16.5 million with incentives. Baltimore later announced Campbell agreed to terms.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins died Saturday morning after he was hit by a vehicle in South Florida, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. He was 24. A standout at Ohio State, Haskins set numerous school records for the Buckeyes as a redshirt sophomore in 2018, including single-season marks for passing yards (4,831) and touchdowns (50). He earned first-team All-Big Ten honors, was named third-team AP All-American, finished third in Heisman Trophy voting and was named Rose Bowl MVP after leading the Buckeyes to a 28-23 victory over the Washington Huskies.

Morstead, 36, joins the Dolphins after splitting last season between the New York Jets and Atlanta Falcons. He finished the year averaging 47.2 yards per attempt, his highest mark since 2016. His net average of 42 yards was also the seventh-highest for any punter in 2021. Carter finished third in yards averaged per kickoff return (25.11) and finished second to former Chargers’ Andre Roberts in total kickoff return yards. Mbaeteka was born and raised in Nigeria and did not play any organized football before taking part in a camp in his home country in May 2021. Former Giant Osi Umenyiora, who works with the league to develop the game in Africa, spotted Mbaeteka at that camp and Mbaeteka was selected to train at an NFL academy in London. He was then selected for the International Player Pathway program and went to work with former NFL center LeCharles Bentley in Arizona. Dobbs, 27, had received several tryouts this offseason, including with the Ravens and Patriots. Young was drafted by the Ravens in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL draft out of Temple. He quickly shot up the depth chart with a strong rookie campaign, recording two interceptions and recovering a fumble.
